I’m reading a book by a British author. (England)
As I read I made a list of words to look up.
I was able to find most of them, but I have eight that I can’t find or need clarification on. THe ones with capital letters were capitalized in the book and I am pretty sure they are places.

Sam there is no easy way to do this yourself, the amount of work & heavy lifting involved is way to much effort. You can dismantle & reassemble the table quite easily by removing the bolts that hold the table together, however putting it all back & making sure its level is a different bag of tricks all together. In my humble opinion if the table is free of charge pay somebody to do the donkey work of moving building & levelling it for you.

hi,i am in a match of snooker and i am 14 – 9 frames down and i need to win the 4 frames i have tommoro…i no i am better than the person i am playing but i dont no how to preform my best. and when i loose a game for instance, it plays on my mind when i playing the other frame and end up loosing that 1 aswell and soo on. i think i just need a confidence boost becuase i am low on it at the moment and my aponent is full of it…please please please some one help becuase i cant afford to loose any more games. i need all the tips i can get to help me win and too put my confidence up when im playing because at the moment i am going into tommoro’s games with no confidence…help me please people…thanks alot!!!!!!!!

The table consists of three or four panels of HEAVY slate if its a good table. This is “glued together” with a putty like material and sanded down. All the bolts hold the panel to the supports are also filled with this material. All of which must be replaced and well sanded upon assembly.
The felt is another story. It is held in by the side rails, and streched VERY tightly, and evenly. This probably the most difficult to redo for someone who has never done it.
Overall, you will probably find it cost effective to hire the move out and let them do it.

I have a problem and I don’t know what to do. Me and my dad were playing a game called carrom, which is like pool (billiards). My dad made in a very nice shot and yelled, ” In your face!” I just laughed and said “good shot”. The next turn, I made in two pieces in one shot. So I said, “ooooohhh”. He slapped me across my face really hard, and started yelling that I was being disrespectful and he started saying ohh into my face. Well, (and I realize this was immature of me) I got pissed and said, ” Since you slapped me when I said that, should I slap you now?” Then he yelled some more and I left. Was I just being a straight up b*tch, or was he wrong. I’m sorry I’m ranting.
Oh I forgot t o say, he does slap and hit me very often, and I’m in high school.

Ummm, first of all, he should NEVER slap you in the face.
It seems like he is very immature and just tries to assert his dominance.
You should really talk to him, if possible.
If he’s not the type that talks, than you could possibly tell someone.
I know that doesn’t sound like fun at all, and trust me, iv’e been there.
But in the end, it could help to have someone on your side.
It is very demeaning to be slapped in the face, especially if it is over a pool game.
I don’t understand how somebody could do that.
It’s easier to talk about these kinds of things when you’re mad.
I am 18 by the way.
I dealt with many things like this too.
It’s not fun at all.
My advice would be to talk to him about it,
or try to get yourself out of the situation to teach him a lesson,
or for your own safety.
A father should never put his hands on you like that.
Or anyone for that matter.
It is wrong.
And he could get into trouble if someone were to find out.
He is an adult, and he should not be acting like this.
